Dr. Doreen Mulenga

Doreen retired from UNICEF in August 2020 having served as UNICEF Representative in Botswana and Uganda; UNICEF Deputy Regional Director for the Middle East and Northern Africa; having managed in collaboration with the Director and two other Deputy Directors over $3.4 billion annually at the UNICEF supply Division in Copenhagen, Denmark as Deputy Director Programmes. She is part of the UK Lumos trustee board.

Dr. Michael Gondwe served as Governor of the Bank of Zambia following his appointment on December 12, 2011. Prior to this appointment, he served as the President and CEO of the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (the PTA Bank).

James Blewett

James Blewett is CEO of Prospero, originally a Chartered Management Accountant, with an MA from the University of Aberdeen, James moved from working in industry to corporate finance – managing privatisation and investment transactions in Central and Eastern Europe – before moving into Economic Development. He has worked on private sector development and market systems development programmes in Africa and Asia for more than 20 years, helping to secure investment and facilitate growth for numerous businesses in developing countries. James has advised on transactions with a cumulative value of more than US$1bn and is an active investor himself – participating in a private equity fund that specializes in impact investment in frontier markets.

Chapita Mbuzi

Chapita Mbuzi is a seasoned banker with more than 15 years work experience in transactional banking and global markets sales. He holds a degree in agriculture majoring in economics and is currently pursuing his MBA in Finance. He is currently based in Lusaka, Zambia.
